POCAHONTAS, AR (KAIT) - Court documents reveal new information in a Randolph County rape investigation.
According to the court documents filed on March 7, Harold Dean Robinson, 49, is charged with 10 counts of rape.
The investigation, according to a case summary, began on Feb. 1, 2018, after a 15-year-old girl told her school counselor that Robinson had been "touching her in a sexual manner."
The alleged victim said the incidents began during the fall of 2017 when Robinson allegedly touched her inappropriately.
The teen, in a written statement, described several incidents saying Robinson would lay her in a bed and touch her inappropriately.
She stated that she would go with Robinson to a barn to feed horses and Robinson would then touch her inappropriately. According to court documents, the victim disclosed that Robinson digitally penetrated her.
She said Robinson would say statements like "You know I love you" and "We'll keep this a secret."
The victim told investigators that Robinson never exposed himself to her.
According to the court records, the victim reached out to her pastor saying she'd been raped "ten to twenty times." In those emails, she said it was hard to "tell on Harold."
In the emails, the victim said "I just want him to know what he did was wrong. I personally forgive him."
