LITTLE ROCK, AR - Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Little Rock say that Hurricane Katrina could produce high winds across Arkansas this afternoon and through tomorrow.

The forecasters issued a statement last night that especially the southeastern half of the state could become very windy.  Forecasters said gusts could reach 30 to 35 miles-per-hour and even 40 miles-per-hour in southern Arkansas.
