LITTLE ROCK, AR (KAIT) - An 18-year-old Heber Springs man died Thursday night when a car hit his motorcycle.
The crash happened at 9:46 p.m. on Interstate 430 at Colonel Glenn Road in Little Rock, according to the Arkansas State Police crash report.
Isaac Daniel Hamman was northbound when a Dodge Charger traveling in the same direction hit the back of his 2008 Suzuki motorcycle.
The impact caused Hamman to lose control and veer into a guardrail. Hamman was thrown from the motorcycle.
The motorcycle then bounced back into the lane of traffic and collided with the Charger and became lodged beneath it. Both vehicles came to a final rest on the east shoulder before catching fire.
Hamman was taken to Baptist Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
It was the state's 77th fatal crash of the year.
