WALNUT RIDGE, AR (KAIT) -

A beloved Walnut Ridge business will close its doors on Saturday.

Carrie Mae Snapp opened Imagine in honor of her love for the Beatles.

"One day before we dedicated the Beatles tribute, there was nothing here there was very little to buy in it," she said.

Soon after opening, the store became a popular spot for music lovers in the small community.

It also became a spot frequented by tourists during the Beatles at the Ridge Festival.

Snapp said people from across the United States and all over the world stopped in her store.

Over the years she filled more than four guest books with names of all the store's visitors.

"I started meeting Beatles fans from all over the world, many of whom I still keep in touch with," she said.

She said health problems are forcing her to close Imagine, but she still plans to be active in the downtown community.

"I don't know that I have a store like Imagine, but I'll be down here in downtown Walnut Ridge," she said.  "I love downtown Walnut Ridge."
