POPLAR BLUFF, MO (KAIT) - A Missouri man died following a crash over the weekend and three other people were injured.
On Sunday around 9:30 a.m. Alvie Browning, 82, of Poplar Bluff was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt east on U.S. 67 just south of Poplar Bluff.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Browning's car pulled into the path of a 2003 Ford Taurus.
Cassandra Arnold, 47, who was driving the Ford and her passenger William Arnold, 52, both of Poplar Bluff, were injured in the crash and taken by ambulance to a Poplar Bluff hospital with moderate to serious injuries.
Browning's passenger, 87-year-old Irma Browning of Poplar Bluff, was also taken to the same hospital by ambulance with minor injuries.
Alvie Browning was pronounced dead just after 10 a.m. at the scene by the deputy coroner.
All of those involved were wearing seatbelts, according to MSHP.
