JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Police say a 24-year-old Jonesboro woman accused of robbery left behind her purse with her personal information.

A loss prevention officer at Walmart, 1815 E. Highland, told police she saw Jessica C. Williams conceal clothing in her purse Sunday afternoon and attempt to leave the store without paying.

When a store employee tried to stop her, Williams shoved the worker out of the way and ran out.

“Loss prevention officers were able to grab the suspect’s purse which contained the suspect’s personal identification,” the probable cause affidavit stated.

When Williams returned to the store later to get her purse, police arrested her.

On Monday she appeared in video court before Craighead County District Judge Tommy Fowler who found probable cause to charge her with robbery.

Williams is being held at the Craighead County Detention Center on a $1,000 cash/surety bond awaiting an April 27 circuit court appearance.
