PLEASANT PLAINS, AR (KAIT) - A former Midland School District staff member was sentenced to over 200 years in prison on charges that include sexual assault and internet stalking.

According to a sentencing order, James V. Seger II was sentenced on March 23 to 210 years in the Arkansas Department of Correction.

He was convicted of three counts of internet stalking of a child, six counts of first-degree sexual assault, and two counts of second-degree sexual assault.

He was also ordered not to have contact with the victim, to register as a sex offender, and to destroy all images of the victim that was in the custody of law enforcement or the court.
