LAWRENCE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -

The Delta Regional Authority (DRA) is investing big bucks into two counties that will create and retain jobs.

A news release from the DRA and Gov. Asa Hutchinson on Thursday announced $500,000 in new investments to create nearly 30 new jobs and retain about 60 jobs in Lawrence and Cleveland counties.

In Lawrence County, DRA will invest $250,000 to pave County Road 210 which is currently a gravel road. The improvement will help support growing businesses in Black Rock, according to DRA.
