CRAIGHEAD COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - A person was airlifted to a Memphis hospital Thursday night after being injured in a one-vehicle, rollover crash in Craighead County.
According to Brookland Fire Department Capt. James Gillean, firefighters and emergency personnel went to the Farville Curve area on Highway 49 around 6:10 p.m. Thursday after getting a call about the crash.
The vehicle appeared to have rolled over near the ditch at the railroad tracks. Gillean said the person had to be extricated from the vehicle. The person was then taken to Regional One Medical Center in Memphis by Hospital Wing in critical condition.
In addition to Brookland firefighters, the Jonesboro Fire Department, Emerson Ambulance, Medic One and the Arkansas State Police responded to the crash, Gillean said.
