BONO, AR (KAIT) - Craighead Electric has restored power to customers in and around Bono after they say a pole was damaged.

In a Facebook post Friday morning, the cooperative stated a car hit and broke the pole.

According to the Craighead Electric outage map, nearly 1,900 customers were without power due to the crash. The outage started around 4:20 a.m.

Jonesboro E911 Dispatch reports the crash happened around 1929 County Road 353.

That road to just south of County Road 376 was closed until repairs could be made.

Power was restored just before 9 a.m.
