AR mother calls on public to find daughter's killer

LITTLE ROCK, AR (KAIT/KARK) -

A mother in central Arkansas is making a plea to the public to catch her daughter's killer.

According to KARK, Latanya Rice continues to search for the person who took her 21-year-old daughter's life.

Cierra Onukwube was shot over the weekend while she was driving her car.

Nathan Sullivan, a passenger in the car was also shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Onukwube died the following day at a hospital.

"She didn't deserve it," Rice said. "The way that she died. I was told they blew my baby's brains out."

The doctors told Rice that there was no way for her daughter to survive the gunshot wound.

Little Rock police and Rice are calling on the public for leads in the case. They advise anyone with information to call the Little Rock Police Department where they can remain anonymous.
