(KAIT/NBC) - Most kids know that an Easter Sunday egg hunt will bring a smile to their faces.
It can be more of a challenge for children with visual impairments, however.
These kids will join the fun thanks to some police officers in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Every spring for the last five years, the bomb squad has teamed up with the South Texas Lighthouse for the Blind to scatter "beeping" eggs built for the visually impaired.
Captain Dave Cook is glad the squad's training can bring joy to local families.
"To see the wonder on their face and the level of happiness in them, it's indescribable. The joy that we feel about that," Cook said.
