LITTLE ROCK, AR (KAIT/KATV) - A Little Rock couple says March 31 brings mixed emotions because this year their daughter would have turned 21.
Ebby Steppach has been missing since October 2015 and still hasn't been found.
Her family decided to partner up with Parents Against Trafficking Humans, also known as PATH, to hold a fundraiser in woman's honor.
"I decided to do this not as a celebration of Ebby's birthday but as an honoring of her birthday," Laurie Jernigan, Ebby's mother, told KATV.
Every dollar earned towards buying balloons, shirts, or dessert goes towards services for survivors of human trafficking and sexual assault.
Following this fundraiser, the family held a birthday party for Ebby's 21st.
There's a 50,000 dollar reward for anyone that can provide information that leads to finding Ebby.
