JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

A teacher at one school rewarded his student with the trip he'll never forget after he noticed his student was making positive strides.

Da'Darius Anderson thinks the world of his coach, Jason Morgan at Success Achievement Academy. Not because of their love of basketball, but because Anderson said Coach Morgan has shaped him into a new person.

"I'm mad and I'm just saying stuff he'll stop me from saying it, he'll sit down and talk to me," Anderson said.

Over the years, his coach has worked with him on and off the court and he's made strides, which is something Coach Morgan says didn't go unnoticed.

So, as a way of congratulating Anderson for making progress, Coach Morgan surprised Anderson with courtside seats to a Memphis Grizzlies game, where Anderson got to meet and take pictures with some of his favorite NBA players.

"I got the autographs and both of our tickets I got it in a picture frame that he got me," Anderson said.

"Yeah, he earned it, he definitely earned that night," Morgan said.

Da'Darius Anderson said after he graduates from Success, he'll start working on becoming an entrepreneur.
