Brookland PD needs community's help in investigation of car break-ins

BROOKLAND, AR (KAIT) -

Brookland Police Department needs your help identifying three suspects.

Investigators released surveillance footage of three people wanted for breaking into vehicles.

Detective Zack Purrington told Region 8 News the department is investigating six car break-ins.

The crimes happened on East School Street and Hayes Street.

The suspects are eyeing unlocked vehicles.

“They are trying to take cash, handbags, clothing items, wallets and identification documents, mainly what they are trying to go after is high-dollar value items,” Purrington said.

One person has been arrested, according to Purrington, and police now need the communities help in identifying the three other suspects.
