(KAIT/KATV) -

Two baseball coaches are on paid administrative leave as a school district looks into hazing.

On Monday, KATV reported the Bauxite School District confirmed a hazing investigation involving their baseball team.

The school district says Arkansas State Police and the Saline County Sheriff's Office are a part of the investigation.

The district says because of student privacy laws they can't comment on the investigation but one parent says her son is one of the seniors accused of hazing freshman players.

That student was suspended last week.

The mother also said that this has gone on for years and even though her son may have hazed someone, he himself was also a victim once during his freshman year.

According to KATV, the coach has said the investigation involves several students but at this time he could not go into detail about the nature of the investigation.

For now, the season has not been canceled.
