Highway back open after crash involving daycare bus

CRAIGHEAD COUNTY, AR (KAIT) -

State Highway 91 in Craighead County is back open after it was shut down due to a three-car crash involving a daycare bus. 

The Arkansas Department of Transportation is reporting the road is back open after being shut down for over an hour and a half. 

Arkansas State Police tells Region 8 News the accident occurred at Craighead County Road 101 and State Highway 91 around 3:52 pm Tuesday. 

ASP says it involved three vehicles, one of them being an Oasis Daycare bus. 

There were children on the bus, nine small children and one teenager were transported to a local hospital for evaluation. None of the injuries were believed to be life-threatening.
