LITTLE ROCK, AR (KAIT/KARK) -

A letter is being mailed to Arkansas Works beneficiaries encouraging them to create an online account through Access.Arkansas.gov and to link those accounts to their healthcare coverage. That way, they can report work, volunteer, and education activities or exemptions.

From April 2-8, those who receive their healthcare benefits through Arkansas Works and are 30-49 years old will receive letters in the mail containing a reference number to link their online accounts to the Access Arkansas Work Requirement website.

According to Little Rock NBC affiliate KARK, the website, which launched over the weekend, is where beneficiaries will report work, job training, education, and other activities if they're subject to the work requirement.

It is also how they will report and update activities that could qualify them for an exemption.

People who are subject to the requirement as of June 1 and must start reporting work activities will be notified in May.
