JACKSONVILLE, AR (KAIT/KARK) - NFL Super Bowl champ Clinton McDonald is giving back to his hometown in Arkansas.
The Jacksonville native won a Super Bowl in 2014 with the Seattle Seahawks but has since moved teams to the Denver Broncos.
This week McDonald traded in his sacks for a suit.
He got to play principal for the day at his elementary school in Jacksonville.
The guest principal popped in several classrooms offering words of wisdom to children.
Even with his success, it's a passion for people and education that sticks with this Super Bowl champ.
"To much is given, much is required and that means when you are blessed with a lot, you have a lot of responsibility that comes with those blessings to be a part of a solution and not the problem," says McDonald.
This week, McDonald is giving back, he has charity events planned and will host a team camp for families.
