DUNKLIN COUNTY, MO (KAIT) - The National Weather Service has confirmed an EF-1 tornado went through Dunklin County.
The tornado, according to the NWS, developed at the intersection of County Roads 627 and 638 and moved east.
During severe weather Tuesday evening, the tornado touched down about three miles south-southeast of Arbyrd just after 6 p.m. It ended about 15 minutes later about a mile south-southwest of Hornersville. It dissipated in the Hornersville Swamp Conservation Area.
Winds reached 90 mph at their peak.
Storage buildings, trees, power poles, and center pivot irrigation systems were damaged. Some residents experienced roof damage.
Most of the significant damage was reported along County Road 657.
No deaths or injuries were reported.
