JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

A Jonesboro woman gained national attention Tuesday night due to a TV show.

Nickole Ashlock is a tattoo artist at Black Arrow Tattoo in Jonesboro. She showed off her skills tonight on Ink Master Angels on the Paramount Network.

Ashlock completed against two other artists in Memphis where the competitor left standing had a chance to compete on the Ink Master show and to win money.

“It was exciting at the same time to be on camera and tattoo and have people like really excited for your work at the end of the day especially people who don’t know you,” Ashlock said.

Ashlock did beat the two artists from Memphis and went on to compete against an angel named Nikki Simpson, a well-known tattoo artist to gain a spot on the Ink Master show.

While Simpson won that round, Ashlock gained the vote of the Memphis crowd.
