Police investigate vehicle break-in in West Memphis

WEST MEMPHIS, AR (KAIT) - Crittenden County authorities are looking for a suspect who reportedly broke into a vehicle, stole a credit card and went across the river and the suspect used the card at a Memphis business.

According to a post on the West Memphis Police Department Facebook page, officers went to Southland Gaming & Racing on April 5 around 3:40 p.m. after getting a call about a vehicle break-in.

Police looked at surveillance video and noticed a silver Ford F-150 pickup truck, with Tennessee plates, was seen involved in the break-in.

An American Express card had been stolen from a vehicle, police said. Also, police believe the card was used at a Game Stop in Memphis to spend $436.99, the post noted.
