LITTLE ROCK, AR (KAIT) -

A pair of Northeast Arkansas men face over two dozen charges in separate cases dealing with crimes involving children, Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge said Wednesday.

Brik Waggoner of Black Rock and James Hix of Mount Pleasant were arrested this week on suspicion of 30 counts of distributing, possessing or viewing of matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child.

In a media release, Rutledge said the Attorney General's Cyber Crimes Unit investigated both Waggoner and Hix, with special agents seizing multiple electronic devices from both homes.

The cases have been turned over to 3rd Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney Henry Boyce and 16th Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney Holly Meyer, Rutledge said.
