LAWRENCE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - Work will begin this weekend on repairs to the east end of the Lawrence County Courthouse roof.
In 2017, the county got a historic preservation grant to move forward with the work.
County Judge John Thomison said the project should be completed within a week.
Also, court will not be held while the repairs are made and certain parts of the courthouse parking lot have been blocked off.
The county has also applied for a grant to move forward on repairing the west side of the courthouse.
