FORREST CITY, AR (KAIT) -

A woman is behind bars after police say she tried to set another woman on fire with a lighter and alcohol.

According to a Forrest City Police Department Facebook post, on Monday police were called to a disturbance at Dawson Apartments.

When police arrived, the caller told officers that Mary Tobar was attempting to set her on fire with a lighter and alcohol.

Officers say they discovered the victim covered in pure grain alcohol and stated that she was able to fight Tobar off.

The post states that Tobar was running out the back door stating that she better not call the police.

Tobar was taken into custody a short distance away and was in possession of a red lighter.

Tobar later confessed her actions at the Forrest City Police Department.

Mary Tobar was subsequently charged with criminal trespassing and aggravated assault.
