GREERS FERRY, AR (KAIT) - The severe weather that went through Northeast Arkansas Friday night created problems in the Greers Ferry area, as trees and power lines were reported down and a boat dock was damaged.
According to Cleburne County OEM director Greg Carr, the storms went through the area between 9:45 p.m. and 10 p.m. Friday bringing heavy winds. A boat dock in the Narrows Marina area flipped over onto some boats, while tree and roof damage was also reported in the area.
A chicken house was also damaged in the Prim community, Carr said, noting houses and sheds were also damaged in the Hopewell area.
No one was injured, Carr said.
