MARKED TREE, AR (KAIT) - A man wanted out of Conway was arrested Monday after sheriff's investigators say they found him and a woman using a Marked Tree home as a "drug house."
The owner of the home on 8th Street contacted the Poinsett County Sheriff's Office to report someone had evicted the previous occupants two months ago and the house should have been vacant.
However, when deputies investigated, they reported finding 46-year-old Bobby Cleveland Bennett and 22-year-old Gloria Ann Russell staying in the home.
"It was believed that the residence was being used as a drug house," Sheriff Kevin Molder stated in an email to Region 8 News.
Deputies arrested the couple and took them to the detention center they were both charged with residential burglary, possession of a controlled substance (meth), and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Molder stated Bennett is also on parole in Conway and is listed as an absconder.
Early Tuesday morning, the sheriff's office received a call stating that two people were seen inside the same residence, "damaging it."
A deputy responded, Molder said, and found 24-year-old Brittany M. Walker of Tyronza and 27-year-old Jacob Dixon of Marked Tree inside the home.
They're being held at the detention center on suspicion of residential burglary and criminal trespass.
The sheriff said the incident is currently under investigation to determine what type of damage was done to the house.
