JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A man faces an assault charge after police say he attacked a hospital worker trying to treat him.
Monday morning, according to court documents, 27-year-old Prince Robinson of Jonesboro was taken to the St. Bernards emergency room, 225 E. Jackson.
While receiving treatment, investigators say Robinson punched a medical technician, causing redness to his chin.
An officer working off-duty at the hospital arrested Robinson without incident.
On Tuesday, Robinson appeared via video court before Craighead County District Judge David Boling who found probable cause to charge him with second-degree battery.
Robinson is being held in the Craighead County Detention Center on a $5,000 cash/surety bond awaiting a May 25 appearance in circuit court.
