MANILA, AR (KAIT) - The Blazing Manila BBQ Festival started Saturday morning with people listening to music and enjoying great food and fun.
Chairman of the Moving Manila Forward Committee, Andrew Fleeman, says this event was about doing something for the community.
"We've got great community events in the fall, but we wanted one for the spring. And we thought a BBQ Festival would be great for this time of year. Had perfect weather and a wonderful turnout so, we couldn't be more excited," Fleeman said.
At least a dozen barbeque competitors cooked while kids enjoyed games at the festival, which ended Saturday night.
