Morgan faces incumbent Governor Asa Hutchinson who also plans to visit Jonesboro.

Governor Hutchinson has a town hall planned at Wilson Hall Auditorium on Arkansas State University’s campus next Tuesday.

He’ll discuss the transformation and reorganization of the state’s government as he plans to reduce the number of cabinet-level agencies that report to him by half.

On the Democratic side, gubernatorial candidate Jared Henderson visited Jonesboro back in March.

He hasn’t announced another Region 8 visit.

His opponent for the May primary Leticia Sanders only has two events planned. Both of them in Maumelle.

The two winners from the May primary will face off Libertarian candidate Mark West.

West last visited Region 8 in April when he went to Harding University in Searcy.
