JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A man is being held on $10,000 bond after Jonesboro police say he fired two shots into a woman's home this past January.
The incident happened around 3 a.m., Jan. 30 in the 700-block of Valley Drive.
The victim told police that 41-year-old Marlow Lamont Williams came to her house and got into an argument with a male friend visiting her.
She said Williams drove away in a light blue passenger car but returned a short time later and began harassing them by knocking on the home's doors and windows.
The woman claimed she heard a "couple of gunshots" in the distance after her friend left the house.
According to the probable cause affidavit, she looked out the window and saw Williams' car stop in front of the house and fire two more shots.
"Officers located two bullet holes in a closet door that were located by the front door of the house," the court documents said. "Officers located two bullet fragments by the front sidewalk where the bullet holes were found."
On Wednesday, Williams appeared before Craighead County District Judge Tommy Fowler on a bench warrant for a terroristic act. He's being held on a $10,000 cash/surety bond awaiting a circuit court appearance on May 25.
