BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) -

Authorities spent Thursday looking for a suspect who reportedly robbed a man at gunpoint in Blytheville, with police there asking for help from the public in putting the suspect behind bars.

According to Blytheville Police Lt. John Frazier, police are looking for D'marcus Black in connection with the robbery. Officers went to a home on East Main Street Tuesday after getting a call from the victim.

"Police received a report from an individual who stated he was at a residence on East Main Street when D'marcus Black pulled a firearm on him, demanding all his money," Frazier, who is the commander of the department's criminal investigation division, said. "According to the victim, he gave Black all of his money and then left."

Police consider Black to be armed and dangerous and is known to be a violent person, Frazier said.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Black can call the Blytheville Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division or Blytheville Crimestoppers at 1-844-910-7867.
