JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

One Jonesboro car dealership gave a high school senior a very special graduation gift on Saturday.

Cavenaugh Auto Group hosted its Attend to Win giveaway Saturday afternoon and gave away a brand new Hyundai Elantra.

More than 200 high school seniors flocked to Cavenaugh Hyundai hoping to win the car.

To be entered to win the seniors needed to attend a Jonesboro area school and have perfect attendance for at least one nine-week period of the school year.

“The area schools were great to partner with and to work with us," said manager Matt Cavenaugh.  "They were all on board, I think they saw the value in a local business helping to encourage their students to come to school everyday."

A senior from Westside High School was the big winner, but he said he never imagined he would drive away in the new car.

"I'm excited, " said senior Andrew Yocum.  "I wasn’t expecting to win anything whatsoever, I just wanted an excuse to get out of the house."

Nine other seniors were also given gift cards during the event.
