(KAIT/NBC) - Was spring cleaning on your to-do list this weekend? There is an important area you might be overlooking.
You might want to check your digital home, too. The first step is to clean out clutter.
Ditch any old Facebook groups or pages that are no longer relevant. Snooze or unfollow posts in your newsfeed that you don't want to see.
Tech expert Jennifer Jolly says it's a good time to do a privacy and security checkup.
"It's really important to do a sweep of your security settings, find out what you've shared and either delete, change, update, or just manage it all," said Jolly.
Email can also be a big source of digital clutter.
Gmail rolled out big changes with shortcuts to help manage inbox overwhelm.
