(KAIT) - Three law enforcement agencies Tuesday received new drug take-back boxes.
Crowley's Ridge Development Council gave three boxes to agencies in Clay, Lawrence, and Poinsett counties.
Executive Director Tony Thomas said drug prevention is their goal. He hopes this will minimize the number of old prescription drugs available to the public.
"These counties are particularly active in the activities of our drug coalition and they were three that identified a need and we just sought ways to meet that need," Thomas said.
Thomas said they're pleased to be working with these three departments to continue improving drug prevention.
