JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - In the past few days, the Jonesboro Police Department has been investigating several vehicle break-ins.

Things from coins, all the way to firearms, have been taken out of vehicles.

While some of the vehicles have had windows broken, many of the thefts have been out of unlocked cars.

Sgt. Lyle Waterworth said the thefts have been concentrated in the Nettleton and Broadmoor area and off of South Caraway in the Southbrook area.

Police have not named any suspects yet, but the question is if all of these break-ins are related.

"There's a possibility that they're connected," Waterworth said. "Every case we work if there are connections, we continue to follow each lead and if they are connected we will connect them all and it will be handled as one case."

Waterworth said it's important to remember to lock your car doors. But, he says people should remove anything of value from their vehicles and take them inside.

If you have any information on the break-ins, call the Jonesboro Police Department or Crimestoppers at 935-STOP.
