JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) -

Two men face arson charges after a woman told investigators she saw them torch a truck.

On Sunday, April 29, a woman reported seeing 49-year-old Richard Edward Giddings of Jonesboro and 47-year-old Brian Keith Raymond of Fisher set fire to a 2003 Chevy Avalanche in the 2200-block of Barnhill Road.

According to court documents, the woman was looking out the back window of her home when she saw the two men standing by the vehicle. She then reportedly saw a spark and flames.

The woman told investigators she stepped away to call her boyfriend and when she returned to the window, the truck was on fire and the two men were gone.

On Friday, May 4, Craighead County District Judge David Boling found probable cause to charge Giddings with arson and criminal trespass in or on a vehicle or structure/premises. The judge set his bond at $15,000 cash/surety.

Raymond, who was arrested Saturday on a bench warrant, appeared before Judge Boling on Monday, May 7. He's also charged with arson and criminal trespass. The judge set his bond at $15,000.

Both Raymond and Giddings are scheduled to appear in circuit court on June 29.

Jonesboro police have not said if the case is related to the death of Jimmy Don Doyle, whose body was found in a burned out truck last Wednesday morning near Trinity Railcar on Barnhill Road.

The state medical examiner's office, according to a news release, said Doyle suffered at least gunshot wound and was dead before the truck was set on fire.
