JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - The Jonesboro Metropolitan Area Planning Commission considered one rezoning request Tuesday night while another was removed from the agenda by the applicant.
The request at Sage Meadow was removed by the applicant. However, a conceptual rezoning review was requested for that area.
MAPC also considered a request from Perry Ivy to rezone an area of land from residential to RM-16.
MAPC denied that request during the meeting.
If it would have been approved, it would have allowed multi-family units including duplexes, triplexes, quads and other units. This area of land sits on the 2900-block of Greensboro Road. It is not, however, part of the planned Greensborough Village.
