(KAIT/KARK) - The Arkansas Department of Health has confirmed 15 cases of Hepatitis A in the state.
According to Little Rock NBC affiliate KARK, the outbreak is confined to Clay, Lawrence, and Greene counties.
Region 8 News spoke with Meg Mirivel, public information officer for the ADH, who said at least one person had been diagnosed with Hepatitis A in Greene County.
She said that person was not an exposure risk.
Health officials said the threat right now is to the area along Highway 67, which many people travel to and from St. Louis.
