POLLARD, AR (KAIT) - A home in Clay County was destroyed by a fire Tuesday morning.
During the fire at 7057 Highway 139 in Pollard, the state highway was closed as crews fought the fire.
Clay County Sheriff Terry Miller says hoses running across the highway led to the closure as Pollard and McDougal Fire Departments put out the fire.
The house is a total loss, according to Miller.
No injuries were reported with the fire.
Investigators are trying to determine how the fire started.
