PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) - A couple faces robbery charges after police say they punched someone in the face over a video game.

Paragould police allege in court documents that 22-year-old Whitney Woods and 27-year-old Dexter Jordan went to a home in the 2400-block of East Lake Street Friday.

The couple reportedly got into a verbal argument with the female victim over a video game.

During the altercation, police allege Jordan and Woods punched the victim in the face "causing significant bruising and swelling."

The couple then fled the scene with the victim's cell phone.

Paragould police arrested Woods and Jordan on Friday, May 11, on suspicion of robbery and theft of property-$1,000 or less.

They're each being held on a $75,000 bond each at the Greene County Detention Center awaiting a probable cause hearing.
