JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A judge found probable cause to charge a man with battery after the victim told police he stabbed him.
According to a probable cause affidavit, officers were called Sunday morning to the intersection of Nettleton Avenue and Griffin Street in Jonesboro.
The victim, who was bleeding around his chest and abdomen, flagged down police and told them that the suspect, Colten Jones, stabbed him several times with a knife.
Officers found three puncture wounds on the victim.
The victim said that he has known Colten Jones for several years and that the two of them were walking to Jones' house when the victim said Jones pulled out a pocket knife and stabbed him several times without warning or provocation.
A judge found probable cause to charge Jones with second-degree battery.
His bond was set at $20,000.
