PIGGOTT, AR (KAIT) -

The weekend is approaching and car lovers have an opportunity to visit a longtime car show that helps several groups.

According to a post on the Piggott Heritage Car Show Facebook page, the 20th annual event includes a show and shine, judging and an evening meal among other events.

The events kick off with a Lion's Club breakfast Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Piggott Community Center. Other events include a downtown cruise and entertainment on the square.

The car show concludes on Sunday with a free breakfast at the community center from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., and an awards presentation afterward.

According to the post, the proceeds from the event help Make-A-Wish and several local organizations.
