This Memorial Day Weekend take a break from the lake and come get your hands on fun at the Ozark Folk Center State Park with craft demonstrations, mini workshops, goats, live mountain music, and more. In addition to our regular 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday – Saturday schedule, the Craft Village at the Center is open Sunday and Monday. Music sets are six times throughout the day and concerts start at 7 p.m. in the Large Auditorium.
The artisans at the park demonstrate, make and sell their crafts, including: pottery, stained glass, chair caning, soap making, weaving, printing, quilting, blacksmithing, and much more throughout the entire day. Many shops offer a hands on craft for a small fee, and some, like the Fiber Arts shop offer the chance to weave on a loom. Some events starting as early at Friday May 27 and running through the Memorial Day Weekend. You can call (870) 269-3851 for more information.
