Police confirm remains of missing Little Rock teenager

LITTLE ROCK, AR (KAIT/KATV) -

According to Little Rock television station KATV, the Arkansas State Crime Lab have been able to determine that the remains found at a park in Little Rock on Tuesday belong to Ebby Steppach.

Authorities sent a public works crew to the area at Chalamont Park around 10 a.m. Tuesday after the remains were found in an underground drainage pipe.

Steppach was reported missing in Oct. 2015 and her vehicle was later discovered at the park, KATV reported.
