GREENE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - An investigation into teenager showing up to school with bruises on her body has led to an arrest.
According to a Greene County Sheriff's Office incident report, 35-year-old Misty Dancer was arrested in connection with hitting a 15-year-old with a belt multiple times for not doing the dishes.
According to the report, the Division of Children and Family Services (DCFS), contacted the sheriff's office to meet at the junior high school after a 15-year-old female showed up with bruises on several parts of her body.
The report states, the deputy observed, "bruises from the female's neck almost to her ankle."
The teenager told the deputy that Dancer had hit her with a belt because she did not do the dishes.
The teen was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
