BLYTHEVILLE, AR (KAIT) - The seismograph was busy early Saturday after a 2.2-magnitude earthquake was picked up close to the Arkansas-Missouri border.

According to a report from the University of Memphis Center for Earthquake Research and Information, the earthquake happened around 1:50 a.m. Saturday three miles north of Blytheville.

The small earthquake had a depth of about seven kilometers below ground, the report noted.
