(KAIT) - Over the course of the summer, free vision screenings will be held for children between 6 months old and 12 years old.

A team of Jonesboro University Heights Lions Club members will use a SPOT vision screening device to take a "snapshot" of childrens' eyes.

If any abnormalities are found, a printed form will suggest that the child's parent or guardian will take them to an eye doctor to determine if there is a problem.
