JONESBORO, Ark. (5/22/18) – The Arkansas State women's soccer team has announced four changes to its upcoming 2018 schedule.
First, due to a recent rule change by the NCAA, Division I soccer programs are now able to begin regular season play a day earlier than had originally been set and to take advantage of the new ruling A-State will now open the season on Thursday, Aug. 16 against UT Martin at the A-State Soccer Park, instead of its original date on Aug. 17.
Second, the Red Wolves were originally set to take on Yale at the A-State Soccer Park on Aug. 19, but due to a conflict in the Bulldog's schedule that match has been replaced with a contest against Nebraska-Omaha on the same date in Jonesboro.
Third, Arkansas State has added a home match against the University of Memphis on Sept. 13. The Red Wolves and Tigers were originally scheduled to play in Memphis on Aug. 26, but a scheduling conflict has now moved the match to Jonesboro in September.
