Opossums are very unique creatures that have a huge importance at Village Creek State Park. This is one of the many fascinating lectures happening on June 9th at Village Creek State Park.  If Opossums aren't quite your thing then maybe you would prefer to hear about rabbits, owls, white tail deer, or slithering snakes.  These are all subjects to learn about for free by joining the very knowledgeable park interpreters as they teach about these unique, misunderstood animals and why it is important to protect them!  And if wildlife is not your interest then you can join them for their water safety class. You can find the meeting times on the Arkansas State Parks website or call (870) 238-9406 for more information.
